About this Visa
This visa lets you live in Taiwan with your spouse or children. You need a spouse or parent who is a Taiwanese citizen or already living in Taiwan legally. Who is it for? Spouses of Taiwanese citizens, children under 18 with a Taiwanese parent, and spouses or children of foreign workers/residents already in Taiwan. What can you do? Eligibility Criteria
- Spouse must be legal in Taiwan
- Must be officially married
- No criminal record
- Not a blue-collar migrant worker
- Children must be under 18
- Cannot be divorced/separated without custody
Financial Requirement
If spouse works in technical job: minimum NT$53,000/month (~$1,680). If spouse is Taiwanese citizen: no requirement.
